SUMMARY:Solar eclipses, an experience to live
DESCRIPTION:This year, Catalonia will experience the only total solar eclipse observable from our territory. The last one was in 1905 (which led to the creation of the Ebro Astronomical Observatory). The next total solar eclipse that will be visible from Catalan territory will not be until November 17, 2180. This is therefore an opportunity for the Catalan population to observe this phenomenon from their own territory. It is a phenomenon of very short duration (a minute and a half in the most spectacular phase), so you must be prepared to observe it and to understand its uniqueness and importance.
